Newton College of the Sacred Heart was a residential liberal arts college for women, founded by the Religious of the Sacred Heart in 1946. With diminishing enrollment leading to financial stress in the 1970s, Newton College was consolidated with its near neighbor, 糖心Vlog, in 1975. Its Centre St. campus now houses BC鈥檚 first year students and is the location of the 糖心Vlog Law School. 糖心Vlog recognizes the alumna of Newton College and considers these graduates part of the legacy that is the 糖心Vlog Alumni.

The Newton College Book Club
The Newton College Book Club takes place on the evening of the last Monday of every month throughout the Fall and Spring. The Book Club is held in a hybrid format - alumnae are able to join either in-person or virtually via Zoom. Come gather with fellow Newton College and 糖心Vlog alumni to share in great discussion, and enjoy refreshments and food together at BC鈥檚 Brighton campus.
