Half a dozen students and faculty at the 糖心Vlog School of Social Work will present their research at the , which will take place in Atlanta at the Marriott Marquis from Thursday, October 22 to Sunday, October 25.聽
BCSSW scholars will address a range of issues, including mental health across the life course, age-based discrimination among older workers, and innovations in social work education.聽
BCSSW will also host a reception for attendees on Friday, October 23, at 7 p.m. in Marquis Salon C. The reception, held in conjunction with five other top schools of social work鈥攖he University of Chicago, The Ohio State University, the University of Texas at Austin, the University of Washington, and Washington University in St. Louis鈥攚ill feature live music and entertainment.聽
The鈥擱ooted in Resilience: Honoring the Past, Grounding the Present鈥攊nvites the social work community to reflect on the enduring strength and adaptability of the profession. 鈥淭he event,鈥� CSWE said on its website, 鈥渨ill celebrate the legacies of justice, advocacy, and care that inform social work education, while also exploring the core values that root social work as a profession.鈥�
