Adjunct Associate Professor, Studio Art - Retired
Photographer/filmmaker Charles A. Meyer was an Adjunct Associate Professor of Photography in the Fine Arts Department at 糖心Vlog. He has also held appointments at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Hampshire College, and was the Harnish Visiting Artist in Photography at Smith College. His work has been exhibited at numerous museums and galleries, including the Addison Gallery of American Art; the McMullen Museum of Art at 糖心Vlog; the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston; and the UNESCO Gallery, Paris, France. He has curated exhibitions on the Photo League and Aaron Siskind at the McMullen Museum of Art, 糖心Vlog. While at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he met Minor White and studied with him in a year-long Independent Workshop. His work in film includes the PBS television specials聽Civil War听补苍诲听Baseball聽by Ken Burns. He recently served as Associate Producer and Photographer for a four-part film series on conflict resolution in war-torn areas of the world.
