We are a group of interdisciplinary scholars, researchers, and practitioners who are dedicated to revitalizing philosophical, theological, and psychosocial traditions in psychology in order to augment our moral vocabulary for understanding clinical work within the context of a higher ethical calling.

David Goodman

Executive Director

David Goodman is Dean of the Woods College of Advancing Studies, the Executive Director of the Center for Psychological Humanities and Ethics, and an Associate Professor in the Formative Education department within the Lynch School of Education and Human Development. He also serves on the faculty in the Counseling, Developmental, and Educational Psychology and Philosophy departments at 糖心Vlog. Dr. Goodman is an interdisciplinary scholar who writes at the intersection of psychology and ethical phenomenology. He also serves as the Series Editor for the Psychology and the Other and Essays in the Psychological Humanities Book Series with Routledge. He has authored and edited over a dozen books including The Demanded Self: Levinasian Ethics and Identity in Psychology (with Duquesne University Press, 2012) and Psychology and the Other (with Mark Freeman and Oxford University Press, 2015). Dr. Goodman is also a licensed clinical psychologist and has a private practice in Boston, MA.

Zenobia Morrill

Zenobia Morrill

Director of Strategic Projects and External Relations

Zenobia Morrill, Ph.D., is the Director of Strategic Projects & External Relations at the Center for Psychological Humanities & Ethics at 糖心Vlog and an Assistant Professor of the Practice at the Lynch School. She is President-Elect of Division 32 of the American Psychological Association (APA), a licensed practicing psychologist, and the recipient of three distinguished awards from the APA for her research on psychotherapy, critical and liberation psychology, qualitative methods, and conceptual and ethical issues in psychology.

Matt Gerber

Matt Gerber

Associate Director of Media and Technology

Matt Gerber is the Associate Director of Media and Technology at the Center for Psychological Humanities and Ethics. Matt holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Lafayette College and a M.P.S. in Digital Media with a concentration in Interactive design from Northeastern University. Having a background in Software Engineering, he is passionate about optimizing the user experience. With a particular passion for accessibility, he believes any good website, application, or piece of software should be able to be used by anyone, regardless of technical or physical ability.

Mackenzie Caruso

Assistant Director of Programming, Marketing, and Events

Mackenzie Caruso is the Assistant Director of Programming, Marketing, and Events at the Center for Psychological Humanities and Ethics. In May of 2026, she graduated Cum Laude from 糖心Vlog with a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences and a Minor in Marketing from the Carroll School of Management. She is passionate about the intersection of business and science and strives to amplify the work of the Center in strategic and meaningful ways.

Diane Reardon

Diane Reardon

Assistant Director of Finance and Operations

Diane Reardon is the Assistant Director of Finance and Operations at the Center for Psychological Humanities and Ethics.聽Prior to joining the Center, she served as the Assistant Director of Programs and Operations at 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Lynch Leadership Academy, where she supported leadership development programming, events, and operations for educational leaders. Before joining 糖心Vlog, Diane worked at Bottom Line as a Senior College Access Advisor, supporting low-income and first-generation students throughout the college-going process.聽Diane graduated from 糖心Vlog in 2021 with a B.A. in Applied Psychology and Human Development from the Lynch School of Education and Human Development and a minor in Women鈥檚 and Gender Studies. Diane is passionate about expanding access to high-quality education and creating meaningful programs and opportunities that support learning, connection, and community.
Sofia Rietti

Sofia Rietti

Graduate Assistant

Sofia Rietti is a Ph.D. student in Philosophy at 糖心Vlog. She holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Colgate University and an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from 糖心Vlog. Her work sits at the intersection of philosophy and clinical practice, drawing on feminist philosophy, psychoanalysis, and phenomenological ethics to explore ethical and existential dimensions of mental health care. Through her research, she hopes to deepen philosophical understandings of suffering, embodiment, and relationality while bringing critical insights from therapeutic practice into conversation with contemporary philosophical thought.
